主要学术成果(认识):
(1)系统厘定了胶北中-新太古代幕式上涌地幔(柱)与岩石圈相互作用驱动壳-幔耦合分异、重力驱动的岩石圈拆沉与板块俯冲起始及地表抬升剥蚀响应的地质过程与动力学演化。为理解地球早期岩石圈分异、板块俯冲起始、深部作用与浅表响应提供了关键证据和认识。
(2)厘定了胶-辽-吉构造带的起源及动力学演化,提出热的、低密度的软流圈物质上涌导致沿胶-辽-吉形成裂谷,随后受控于高密度榴辉岩-麻粒岩相下地壳重力下沉所驱动的汇聚造山作用,及造山带去山根和垮塌,建立了相应的构造演化模式。
(3)厘定了海阳所基底杂岩的主要岩石组合及及其记录的重要岩浆-变质事件与早期大陆形成演化信息,发现了中太古代高δ18O及>32亿年花岗质岩石,为地球早期水-岩作用、地壳再循环模式及动力学提供了证据。
(4)确定了胶北及苏鲁造山带内变质表壳岩系的物源、沉积-变质-变形时代及构造属性, 为扬子板块与华北板块俯冲碰撞模式及缝合带的确切位置提供了重要约束。
(5)对鄂尔多斯周缘山体、渤海湾盆地周缘山体、辽东半岛及山东半岛开展了构造、岩浆作用及单矿物Ar-Ar、磷灰石裂变径迹、锆石及磷灰石(U-Th)/He等构造热年代学研究,为华北克拉通中生代以来克拉通破裂的地表时空过程、华北克拉通破裂前的基底构造格局的恢复提供了约束,为进一步开展古老克拉通大陆的起源、增生、演化、保存及破裂与克拉通边缘成矿作用的综合研究奠定了基础;
(6)负责完成太平洋构造域陆域1:500万大地构造图编制。
